Ideological Crutch

In the July 7 issue of National Review, Kevin Williamson writes of the exploitation of science, or rather, the exploitation of the reputation of certain scientists, in attempts to settle issues of morality. When reading Williamson's stuff, I sometimes feel as Salieri did (in the movie anyway) listening to Mozart's music. Am I the only one aware of his genius?
